DAVE: I'll throw in my 2 cents worth of speculation regarding your photo at the top of the page. The column does appear to have Gold, buried 5-6 feet below it. The container may be made of wood, as opposed to metal. This may be the reason it photographed so well.
My guess is the column is an Infra-Red light source actually emitted (not reflected) by the Gold, but perhaps visibly enhanced, or regulated by the type of soil, or varied atmospheric conditions. I would say the camera would have to be within 75 feet of the target to photograph this phenomena.
I would suggest the possibility of more Buried Gold deposits farther down in the woods.
I have posted a negative of your photo and this shows a Reddish Orange, flare , above and behind the trees in the upper left hand corner of the photo. In my very limited experience, this is a typical illustration of a concentrated Magnetic field surrounding Gold. The difference I see from the Infra-red light column in your photo, is that these flares are in the NEAR Infra-Red spectrum.
In my opinion, this light is generated by the Magnetic field surrounding the Gold, but not from the Gold, itself.
I think Kybob, will agree with me that this Magnetic field surrounding Gold can be readily detected with a simple pair of L-Rods, and Discriminated with Frequency, or Harmonic Induction. Dell

KYBOB: Just a thought. May I suggest an experiment for you to try?
If you have one of those battery operated Fluorescent lights, turn it on and place it within 5 feet of your test target and take an infra-red photograph. You may want to use a shield so the light isn't directed at the camera lens.
Also compare with a 110 V fluorescent light.

Tell me, Is the "Dave" who hosts this "forum" by any chance David Villanueva?
The tone and format and all positive posts would seem to suggest so. It is interesting how "Dave" so often leads off by talking about himself in the third person, referring to David Villanuevas' book about treasure auras. Third person self reference is a known marker of insanity.
Just curious. If this comment is not posted, then My question will be answered in the affirmative.
